Source….what is it to you? What is the Divine, and what are you within it?
More specifically, how does your religious belief system relate to your sexuality?
Destin:
The Divine, put simply, is Everything. The Alpha and the Omega. All that is. Everything is made up of atoms, right?; and atoms are made up of subatomic particles: neutrons, protons, and electrons; and these subatomic particles can be further broken down into quark; and quark can be broken down into quanta. At present, quanta are the smallest things in existence, of which EVERYTHING else in the known universe is made up out of. Everything is simply quanta pieced together in an infinite number of different ways.
Quanta are highly unusual in that they are both waves of energy AND particles at the same time. It all depends on how we are viewing them. So, then, if everything is made up of quanta, and quanta is basically waves of energy, than science is now confirming what mystics have been saying for thousands of years. Everything is energy. And if Everything is simply energetic waves and particles pieced together in different ways, than really, REALLY there is no separation between me, you, this earth we stand on or the air that we breathe.
It’s all interconnected. It is all one. WE are all one.
I have come to believe, via the events and experiences of my life, that there is a larger force at work than what any of us tiny human beings can fully comprehend. We do our best to get it. We have a myriad of religions that are little more than man’s attempt to grasp What Is, but they’re all flawed, because we are trying to wrap our minds around something so incredibly vast.
I seek out the shared truths carried across different religions around the planet and throughout history. I believe that this is where a larger truth can be found.
It is one thing to have these ideas, these thoughts on spirituality, and a whole other thing to have these spiritual experiences. I’ve experienced both.
I’ve had experiences in which I’ve felt myself meld with the universal lattice. I’ve experienced it with great fear and I’ve experienced it with awe and fascination. I have had such experiences with the aid of hallucinogenics, and I’ve had such experiences 100% sober, particularly profoundly while on a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat in April 2005.

While I do not live every moment of my life in this place of universal connectedness (nor am I certain that such a thing is possible, let alone advisable), I have had the experience enough times that it has impacted the way that I walk through this world. The choices that I make. The way that I treat my fellow human being. And it helps motivate me to dedicate my life to the upliftment of the consciousness of every person on the planet.
I believe that we are living in a time of transformational shift in human consciousness and that part of that shift MUST be a shift in how we relate to our sexuality. I believe that I am part of that shift. I am part of it, because I choose be part of it. Join me! If you haven’t already.
I have experienced this state of spiritual oneness most often via orgasm. There is a reason why orgasms feel so good. I believe that they are physical means to experience divine bliss. Especially, once you learn to expand that orgasm beyond the sex organs to include your entire body (and beyond that even). I’m a big fan of taking that bliss, filling your whole body with it, deepening it, and expanding its length. I believe that by doing so, we can release deep pains and traumas that are held in our bodies and move towards being able to live each day in greater and greater states of ecstasy. This to me, is all part of increasing the intensity at which our beings vibrate at, which is all a part of the evolution of our collective consciousness.
